You can get this effect with any graphics program that uses layers.
You can turn a regular base (from Fuzzable) into something
glamorous with just a couple simple steps.
Step .001
Open up your image in your desired program. I will be using the image to the left from
Fuzzable. You may resize your image if nesescessary, but keep in mind that the average icon dimensions are
100px by 100px and 90px by 90px.
Step .002
Paste this onto your canvas in a new layer and set the layer's mode to
screen. The white border around the icon is natural; I happened to prefer it there. If you don't however, simply
fill a new layer with #AB0EC7 and set the layer's mode to screen.
Step .003
Paste this onto your canvas in a new layer and set it to screen.
And you're finnished! If you happened to find any bugs in this tutorial, please do e-mail
me.

Welcome
... to the second home of a questionably sane American teenager.
Look through what's become of her boredom, and eventually you'll find
something you like.
Hi there, you can call me Alex. I'm just your abnormal American teenager.
I like show tunes, indie music, photography, tea, and just about every
bright color you can think of.
What else could you ever so possibly want to
know?
