Every Me Every You Placebo

Where oh where should I begin. My life so far? Not that bad. Except for the super early mornings, late nights, and a little bit of what's mentioned a couple paragraphs down, it's been okay. The site? Ehh, it's slowly dwindling downwards. I'll bring it back up sometime in the near future, but right now 'when' is the question. Don't lose complete faith in me, who knows; maybe sometime soon my self-esteem will spike and I'll feel like doing something productive.

We're just going to skip to the 'my life' portion of the blog..

For the last two weeks I've participated in my junior high school's spring production, Jungle Book. 7 out of the 12 shows I've been King Louie; the orangutan that captures Mowgli to learn how to make fire. In the play, I look like a lion, and fire isn't mentioned at all. There's a lot of singing and dancing though, and it's a lot of fun. The other 5 I've been a tree in the forest. Why do I have two parts? Because the director double-casted the role, because she "simply couldn't decide between the two of you". Mhmm.

So going along with this whole play thing: this last Friday was my last show as King Louie, and the second to last show in the whole run. 3 of my friends (two of them really close friends, the other marginally recognized as a friend but still.. ehh, not really 'deserves', but will get acknowledgement anyways) decided to promise me they'd be there, then not show. This effected me a lot more than it probably should have and is bugging me. Is it really so hard to keep your word?

Ahh, teenage rants: how we live for them.

1. Have you ever been involved with school productions? What were your experiences?
2. Your views on no-show friends?
3. Word association: Justin Beiber. Formspring. Ice Cream.
