Made for the general public, but made by Dertta on 11/18/08
You've seen it several places before; someone tells you to hover your mouse over an image and some
text comes up. The text might be explaining who is in the image, what it's for, so on. Now... How
do you do that? Simple, really. Almost deprecatingly simple.
Let's start out with a random image... I'm going to use this one, that I took of an old stop sign.
The coding right now, looks like so...
Simple enough, right? Just image tags around an image I took and uploaded. Let's get to the purpose
of this tutorial.
After your ending quotation mark (after the end of your image URL, and within the ending carot)
you want to add:
Wow. Hard work, right? Now our image looks like this (hover, please).
Wow yet again! Pure magic. ^^

Welcome
... to the second home of a questionably sane American teenager.
Look through what's become of her boredom, and eventually you'll find
something you like.
Hi there, you can call me Alex. I'm just your abnormal American teenager.
I like show tunes, indie music, photography, tea, and just about every
bright color you can think of.
What else could you ever so possibly want to
know?
